Take a seat in the front row, right on the beach of a peaceful fishing village.

This tiny beach resort in Msambweni is far away from any kind of package tourism.

The moorings of the local fishermen in front of our restaurant are a pittoresque piece of unspoilt Africa.

•  Mbuyu Beach is a tiny,  eco-friendly lodge in a tropical garden on the Indian Ocean. An old baobab tree ("mbuyu" in Swahili) has given the place its name.

•  We have just five cottages and three rooms that can accommodate up to 16 guests.  If you are looking for peace and quiet in an unspoilt environment - this is your place. Sustainability is part of our everyday life and we support green projects throughout the village.

 •  Our restaurant serves fresh fish straight from the ocean, and you enjoy it grilled, stewed, baked or as an irresistible curry with coconut rice. We generally supply our regional cuisine with fresh products from the local markets. Many of our guests love to share dinner at one big table - so join in for a talkative evening, if you like.
